Each June, youth with disabilities (ages 13-22) and their family members gather at James Madison University (JMU) in Harrisonburg, Virginia for a two day summit. Youth learn about and practice self-advocacy and self-determination skills. Family members learn about supporting their youth through middle and high school transitions and post high school life. For more information about the I’m Determined project, including information for the youth summit, please visit the I’m Determined Youth Summit page.
